Colombian people used to make movies about violence, drugs, etc. but sometimes they are wrong because Colombia has better things to show and if we want to make movies we can change the topic.

This movie is inspired in the real life and story is based on jorge franco´s novel and acting by Angelica Blandon and Aldemar Correa, but there were more people like Margarita Rosa de Francisco and Jesus Ochoa. Also Jorge Franco wrote Rosario tijeras, Maldito amor, and Mala noche.

The film in general is about Reina and Marlon, two Colombian teenagers living in Medellin Colombia, who want to travel to New York City. Althought they have a relationship, they decided to live the American dream.During the trip they had to cross illegally thought Mexico and live really bad experiences with more illegal people. they arrived to New York City without money.

Colombian people and the world could think that film show us the true of the american dream, here the caracters describe the process since the people decided to leaved their country for travel to USA illegally.

Also I like so much Fonseca´s song it is so beautiful and this song id telling us a little bit of they, was good.

finally, i recomended this film because it is a different kind of Colombian film, So show drugs or something like this, is better if you read the novel before, because you will understand the film. So we're in the obligation to help Colombian talent and the country in general, maybe people can go to the cinema or buy the original film.
