The story then flashes back to the 1930's at the State Prison., where Thom Hanks as Paul Edgecomb, the supervisor of the green mile, is suffering from a urinary infection. Some of the other guards Brutus "Brutal" Howell (David Morse), Dean Stanton (Barry Pepper) and Harry Terwilliger (Jeffery DuMunn) bring in a new inmate. Personally, I think the green mile is a great film because it give a reflection for life, if we do the things good, or we do bad things, and be a bad person, I also think that God can said who lives and who die because of that I disagree for whit death penalty and even more with the electric chair.
Commentators pointed out some comparisons between Coffey and Jesus Christ, namely that are both their initials "JC", which both possess healing powers and who died, while a small group of followers to believe in its powers.
I recommend this film for all people who like movies with a reflection and who like to have a nice time view excellent actors, good sound and pictures and I think this is not a movie for child audience because is thought.
